After being frustrated when looking for our vacation spots, whose renovation was stifling the charm and poetry, we had the idea of ​​creating our own gîte in an old abandoned forge attached to our house.

The Gîte de la Forge will open in the summer of 2025 and will allow us to make the daily life that is so dear to us accessible to all our visitors: children can walk alone, ride their bikes, see the trees bloom and slide in winter. ... In summer there are cherries, in autumn apples and chestnuts, and all year round the eggs of our superb fleet of hens. It's silly, it's simple, but it's a real joy!

This project also allows us to contribute to safeguarding the incredible local Alsatian heritage that surrounds us: we want to preserve as much as possible the various pieces, paintings, and objects currently present in the forge. Follow its renovation through our blog and on our social networks!
